STEM-CPD Summer School
STEM-CPD Summer School
The STEM-CPD Summer Schools aim to improve the quality of teaching at STEM universities by following the CPD Ambassador principle. This intensive summer school program selects up to 25 participants to develop professional development activities for lecturers at their respective universities. It also enhances their teaching competences with an international perspective, thereby improving the quality of STEM education at their institutions.
In collaboration with local host universities, the ECTN Eurolecturer Academy has successfully organized four STEM-CPD Summer Schools. The participants of these summer schools, now CPD Ambassadors, are performing outstanding and essential work to enhance teaching and learning at their institutions. As ambassadors, they also promote the importance of continuous professional development (CPD) in university STEM education. Discover more about this inspiring summer school and the CPD Ambassador initiative in our paper, “Ambassadors of Professional Development in Teaching and Learning in STEM Higher Education.”
