We are pleased to announce the upcoming, already the 5th STEM-CPD Summer School, an exceptional opportunity for university lecturers in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) who are committed to student-centered teaching, and who aim to promote continuous professional development (CPD) in teaching and learning at their home universities. The intensive summer school program enables a selected group of maximal 25 participants to develop professional development activities for lecturers at their respective universities and to enhance their university teaching competences with an international dimension, thereby improving the quality of STEM education at their institutions. This year the focus of the STEM-CPD Summer School will be on the challenges of the Union of Skills in STEM higher education (Erasmus+ strategy 2028–2034). The summer school is intended for academic teachers in STEM, with a special invitation to previous STEM-CPD Summer School participants, current CPD Ambassadors, and those who aspire to become CPD Ambassadors. Upon successful completion of the 5th STEM-CPD Summer School, all participants will get a certificate on the topic and new participants will be awarded the CPD Ambassador certificate and gain the opportunity to join the international CPD Ambassadors Community.

The 5th STEM-CPD Summer School will be organized in cooperation with the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain. Madrid, the capital of Spain, a cultural, historical and scientific center in Europe, provides a fascinating setting for understanding the intersection of history, science, and culture.
