Procedure

The number of participants of the STEM-CPD Summer School is limited to 24 participants. The procedure to join the 4th STEM-CPD Summer School in Palermo has therefore two steps:

• application to attend
• registration and payment

To participate in the summer school, you must first complete the application form. This form requires you to provide information about your commitment to continuous professional development in teaching and learning in higher STEM education, as well as your personal goals. After you are selected, you confirm your registration and you will receive an invoice with the instruction about the payment and the deadline for the payment.
The attendance of the 4th STEM-CPD Summer School is only possible upon application and the payment of the registration fee.

There are only a few places still available. Apply as soon as possible!
The applicants from the universities who are ECTN members have a reduced registration fee 400 euro.

Registration fee includes

• summer school sessions (see the program)
• community-building excursion and official “STEM-CPD Summer School Dinner”
• certificates
• lunches and coffee/tea breaks

If you are an employee of an European university, we recommend you to check the possibilities of the Erasmus+ Training and Erasmus+ Staff exchange programmes to get funding to attend the 4th STEM-CPD Summer School (see in About about the mobility targets of this summer school).

Cancelation policy: 100% refund of the registration fee by cancelation before June 30, 2024, 60% refund registration fee by cancelation before August 31, 2024. No refund in case of the cancelation less than one month before the start of the 4th STEM-CPD Summer School.
