Procedure

The number of participants of the STEM-CPD Summer School is limited to 24 participants. The procedure to join the 5th STEM-CPD Summer School in Toruń has therefore two steps:

  • application to attend
  • registration and payment

To participate in the summer school, you must first complete the application form. This form requires you to provide information about your commitment to continuous professional development in teaching and learning in higher STEM education, as well as your personal goals. After you are selected, you will receive the instruction about the payment and the deadline for the payment. After the payment you will receive the invoice. Please note that spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The attendance of the 5th STEM-CPD Summer School is only possible upon application and the payment of the registration fee.

If you are an employee of an European university, we recommend you to check the possibilities of the Erasmus+ Training and Erasmus+ Staff exchange programmes to get funding to attend the 5th STEM-CPD Summer School (see in About about the mobility targets of this summer school).

Cancellation policy

If a registered participant is unable to attend the event for any reason, the registration may be transferred to someone else from the same organization, subject to the organizer’s approval. For the cancellation request received until April 18, the full amount of the fee will be refunded, the bank transfer charge will be borne by the recipient. 45% amount of the fee will be refunded by cancellation between April 18 and August 15, 2025, the bank transfer charge will be borne by the recipient. No refund in case of the cancellation after August 15 (less than one month before the start of the Summer School).
