Important deadlines

Only 25 participants can join the summer school.

November 24, 2025 – March 1, 2026: Express your interest and reserve your spot and the registration fee of 280 euro without needing to pay immediately, giving you time to arrange funding if necessary. Spots are reserved on a first come, first served basis. On March 2 we will inform you about the registration and payment procedure. 

Note: This summer school is a non-profit academic event dependent on registration fees. Your fees cover the costs of organizing and running the event. If you intend to join the summer school, please register as soon as possible to make us possible to organize the event!

Intended learning outcomes

The participants will get acquainted with and will be able to describe the pedagogical benefits of question-driven teaching through experiencing it as a student in the summer school.

After the Question-Driven Learning in STEM Summer School the participants will be able to:

  1. design questions with different goals to implement in their teaching practice
  2. design a short guided inquiry session for their students
  3. take a role of a “guide on the side” in a session with students in an inclusive way
  4. discuss how this type of teaching could be adapted to available teaching facilities
  5. share experience about the guided inquiry teaching method with colleagues

Organisation

The “Question-Driven Learning in STEM” Summer School is organised by the ECTN Working Group Eurolecturer Academy in cooperation with the University of Valencia (local organising university of this event). The Organising Committee of the “Question-Driven Learning in STEM” Summer School and the “ECTN Teaching and Learning in STEM Summer School Scientific Committee assure high quality organisation and academic level. Organisations who find CPD in teaching and learning in higher education important are welcome to support these initiative.
