Postdoctoral researcher position in analytical and green chemistry. Green analytical chemistry group lead by Marek Tobiszewski is searching for postdoctoral candidate to join. The position is available for researchers currently working outside of Poland. PhD degree is required and good scientific record. Ideally, the candidate should be an expert is one or more of the fields: sample preparation, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, chemometrics and experimental design. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, curiosity and self-motivation are crucial, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.

A two year postdoc in Atmospheric Chemistry is available in the School of Chemistry at the University of Leeds. We are looking for a postdoc to work on the PEROXY project (New field measurements and mechanistic understanding for RO2 radicals) which was recently funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). PEROXY consists of a collaborative team with complementary expertise and capabilities in both experimental and modelling aspects of atmospheric chemistry, from the School of Chemistry at the University of Leeds, and the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Manchester.
The position is available from April 2021 and we anticipate that the position will be started by July 2021 but there may be some flexibility in the start date. Salary: Grade 7 (£33,797)

International School of Process Chemistry –ISPROCHEM”,10-12 May, 2021 (April 12, 2021)
The 2021 edition of the *International School of Process Chemistry –ISPROCHEM*, promoted by the Organic Chemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society will take place as a Webinar, as an online event on 10 to 12 of May.
It will include a historical perspective on natural products as active pharmaceutical ingredients, and several conferences aimed at highlight issues of emerging interest. The program will cover several topics, including HPAPI (Highly Powerful API) production, continuous crystallization, particle engineering, radiation of synchrotron in polymorphic characterization, new trends in development of APIs based on natural products, alternative solvents, mechanochemistry, continuous production, automated synthesis of complex molecules, continuous flow chemistry, organophotocatalysis, catalysis of iron and biocatalysis. In a workshop, studies on issues related to scale-up in process chemistry will also be presented.

Our department offers excellent research facilities as well as an international, highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment.
