Advanced School of Organic Chemistry – September 25-28, 2020

The XIX session of the Ischia Advanced School of Organic Chemistry will be held on September 25-28, 2020. The IASOC Conference is organized every second year by the University of Naples Federico II and the Italian Chemical Society, Division of Organic Chemistry and since 1984 it is held in the island of Ischia, gathering together scientists of the highest international reputation and young chemists of advanced professional standing from all over the world.

The main focus of the 2020 session will be on “The Moving Frontiers of Organic Synthesis?

We are currently seeking highly motivated master students to the Synthetic Array Technologies group at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (Potsdam Science Park). You will practice organic chemistry with focus in peptide and carbohydrate chemistry, automated solid phase synthesis and you will have the possibility to contribute in the development of a new technology for high-throughput analysis. Our department offers excellent research facilities as well as an international, highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment.
